The farmers' market of Playa de Arinaga is held on Fridays, from 8am to 2pm, on the town square, next to Avenida Polizón.
Direct sale
Around ten zero-kilometre stalls where the growers sell their own crop, with no middlemen: locally grown fruit, vegetables and garden produce. Alongside them, stalls of flowers, crafts, gift items and textiles.

The consumer affairs department of Agüimes town council set it up in July 2021, to bring trade to the coastal town.
It is the municipality's second market: the other is held on Thursdays in the centre of Agüimes.
