Arguineguín market is held on Tuesdays by the harbour and Las Marañuelas beach. Since January 2025 it occupies Avenida Manuel Álamo Suárez and the pedestrian stretches of Miguel Marrero Rodríguez and Graciliano Afonso streets. Selling starts at 8am and the stalls come down from 2pm.

What is sold

Mostly clothing, footwear, bags, costume jewellery and souvenirs aimed at visitors. There are also stalls with mojo sauces, salts, aloe, Canarian produce, food and household goods. Several categories repeat along the route, and the mix changes from week to week.

What a visit is like

The roughly 170 stalls are laid out in a line close to the seafront. Traffic and parking on the avenue are closed off during set-up and while the market runs, so the last stretch is on foot. It is an open-air site and some stretches have little shade.
