Markets in Benidorm
Benidorm has three markets all year round: the Levante market, at Rincón de Loix, on Wednesdays and Sundays, with around 300 stalls; the Foietes market, on Wednesdays; and the El Cisne flea market, on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
What days are the markets on in Benidorm?
Benidorm is in the Marina Baixa, on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante, between Villajoyosa and Finestrat on one side and l'Alfàs del Pi and Altea on the other. It has a market on Wednesdays and Sundays, and a flea market on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The big one is the Levante market, on Wednesdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 14:00: around 300 stalls on the Rincón de Loix esplanade, on Avinguda de l'Almirall Bernat de Sarrià, next to the Hotel Pueblo, which is the name many people know it by. There are clothes, shoes, bags, costume jewellery, household goods, fruit and vegetables. Parking nearby fills up from mid-morning, so if you drive, arrive at opening time.
On Wednesdays the Foietes market opens as well, on Avenida Ciudad Deportiva, also from 8:00 to 14:00: around 240 stalls, used more by locals than by tourists, with plenty of fruit and vegetables, clothes, shoes, flowers and plants.
The flea market is El Cisne, on Avinguda de la Comunitat Valenciana, in Almafrà: antiques and collectables on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 to 14:00.
If you are looking for a market in the Poniente area, the nearest is Cala de Finestrat, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, just over the boundary in Villajoyosa.
