La Cala de Mijas market is held every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 to 14:00 at the La Cala de Mijas fairground, on Avenida Mare Nostrum, with around 150 stalls.

It is a general market: bags, clothing, footwear and accessories, costume jewellery, decoration, household goods, crafts, ceramics, flowers and plants, fruit and vegetables, food, pickles, nuts and sweets.

If it falls on a public holiday the market may be suspended or moved: check with Mijas council before travelling. The same town also has the organic market on the boulevard, on the second and last Sunday of the month.
