Benalmádena Market

Benalmádena market, known to many visitors as the Tivoli market, is held on Fridays from 9:00 to 14:00 on the Tívoli esplanade, on Avenida del Manantial in Arroyo de la Miel, near the local railway station. There are usually around 230 stalls.

When it's on

Every Friday of the year, except when the Friday falls on Christmas Day, New Year's Day or Epiphany (25 December, 1 and 6 January): there is no market on those days.

Where it is

The Tívoli esplanade is on Avenida del Manantial, in Arroyo de la Miel, a few minutes' walk from the railway station. Don't confuse it with the fairground in the La Paloma park, where the Wednesday flea market is held and where, also on Fridays from 9:00 to 14:00, there is a fruit and vegetable market.

What you'll find

Mostly clothes, shoes, bags and leather belts, sunglasses and accessories, plus ceramics, kitchenware, hardware, flowers and football shirts. There are a few stalls with fruit, spices, nuts and sweets, but Friday's fruit and vegetables are mainly at La Paloma. Many stalls sell similar goods.

Tips

Parking nearby is difficult: the easiest way to get there is by train or on foot.
