Es Migjorn Gran holds its street market on Wednesdays from 8:00 to 12:00 at the Pla de l'Església, in front of the church of Sant Cristòfol. It runs all year and is the village's shopping market, one of the smallest on Menorca.

What's on sale

Island produce and the everyday shop: cured meats, cheese and fruit are among the regulars, with local growers among the sellers according to the island council's AgroXerxa register.

Visiting the market

It is an early market: it starts at eight and by midday it is packed away. In summer the village also has its Tuesday night market, Dimarts as Migjorn, through the streets of the centre.
