Markets in Formentera

6 markets

Formentera concentrates its markets in the summer and the island council runs them. The main one is the La Mola craft fair, going since 1984: Wednesday and Sunday afternoons in El Pilar de la Mola, with ceramics, wood, silver, stone, shells and glass, and live music in the central square.

The rest are spread around the island. Sant Francesc Xavier has the craft market on Carrer de Jaume I, open daily from May to October. Sant Ferran de ses Roques runs the artists' market from Thursday to Saturday, with painting and work inspired by the island. Es Pujols opens every night of the summer along its pedestrian promenade, and La Savina, down at the port, opens in July and August only, in a morning and an evening shift.

One market stays open out of season: the second-hand market in the Jardí de ses Eres, behind the church in Sant Francesc, on Tuesdays and Saturdays all year round.

For each market you will find the day, the opening hours, the exact address and the upcoming dates.
