It is a small, neighbourly market: fruit and vegetables, textiles and footwear, gifts, plants and flowers.
Lloseta is Mallorca's shoemaking town: in 1970 it had as many as 28 shoe factories, and survivors like Bestard — mountain boots since 1940 — still manufacture here. Every June the Fira de sa Sabata i Artesania, the shoe and crafts fair, brings that tradition out into the streets, with the Saturday market folded into the festivities.
