Es Baratillo des Pla is the second-hand market fair of Maria de la Salut: it is held once a year, on the last Sunday of September, from 8 am to 5 pm, in Plaça des Pou and the streets of the centre. The next edition, the 32nd, is on 27 September 2026.
The antique dealers gather in Plaça des Pou and in Carrer Nou, Carrer Costa i Llobera and Carrer Jaume Bergas: period Mallorcan furniture, paintings, vinyl records, books, home decor and all kinds of second-hand and bargain items. Around them, a show of master craftsmen, collectors' stalls, classic vehicles and local produce. It is organised by the town council and admission is free.
The first edition was recorded in 1992 and the village sees it as the closing of the fiestas of the Mare de Déu de la Salut. The rest of the year, the weekly market of Maria is on Friday mornings.
