Salou Monday Market is held every Monday from 9:00 to 14:00, next to the town hall. In summer it has around 100 stalls, mostly selling clothes, shoes and accessories.

When is it on?

Every Monday of the year, winter included. If the Monday is a public holiday, it is worth checking that the market is on before you go, especially on Salou's two local holidays: 30 October and another winter date that changes every year.

Where is it?

On Carrer de l'Arquitecte Ubach and the streets around it, up to Carrer de Pere Galès, next to the town hall and the Passeig del 30 d'Octubre (30 October Promenade). This is the upper part of town, away from the sea: from the Passeig de Jaume I and Llevant beach it is just over a kilometre, about a 15-minute walk, and from the railway station about 10 minutes.

In late January, during the winter festival (Festa Major d'Hivern), it may move for a few weeks to Carrer de l'Advocat Gallego, very close by.

What will you find?

In summer there are usually around 100 stalls; in winter, between 30 and 40. Clothing is the main thing, much of it beachwear and holiday clothes, followed by shoes, bags, costume jewellery, sunglasses and bed linen, with the odd stall selling nuts and sweets. There is no fruit or veg.

Tips for your visit

In July and August it gets very busy and can be very hot: it pays to go early and take water. Many stalls put up awnings over the aisle, which give some shade. Sometimes prices can be haggled.
