Sant Feliu de Guíxols Market

Every Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:30, all year round. The day and hours are confirmed by the municipal tourist office.

On the Plaça del Mercat and the Passeig del Mar. It is easy to find it listed on the square alone: the market also takes up the promenade, under the trees and beside the terraces.

The covered municipal market adjoins it, with fishmongers, butchers and its own café.

Around 120 stalls between the square and the promenade.

• Local fruit and vegetables: some sold directly by local growers, with a selection that changes through the seasons.

• Artisan and speciality food: cured meats, cheeses, honey, traditional bread, homemade wine and nuts. Some stalls serve oysters and tapas on the spot.

• Clothing, footwear and general goods: seasonal clothes, shoes, underwear, sunglasses, bags and household items.

• Vintage and second-hand clothing: rummage stalls, increasingly present.

For fresh produce, before 9:30, especially in summer.

Spaces in the nearby streets go quickly; the paid underground car park by the promenade is the more reliable option. Most stalls take cash only.
