The general section, with 340, is clothing, shoes, accessories, household textiles, cleaning products, plants, small appliances and costume jewellery. The food section changes with the day: 80 stalls on Saturdays and only 20 on Mondays, with fruit, vegetables, fish, cured meats, cheeses and nuts, plus up to 15 food trucks. For fresh produce, go on Saturday. There is no second-hand here: the council does not allow used goods to be sold, apart from vintage clothing and antiques.
The Santa Pola food market is some 50 stalls of local fruit and vegetables and flowers. Gran Alacant market, with almost 100 stalls, mixes fruit and vegetables with clothing, shoes, kitchenware and decoration. The two night markets are small craft ones: 30 stalls on Levante beach and 20 at Playa Lisa.
