The Fuengirola flea market is held every Saturday from 9:00 to 14:00 at the fairground, and with more than 300 stalls it is one of the biggest in Andalusia. Traders set up from 7:00 and clear the ground by 16:00.

Only three kinds of goods may be sold here. Used items: vintage clothing, books, vinyl records, old toys, appliances, tools and furniture. Antiques and collectables: coins, stamps, watches, pictures, fossils and pieces with some history. Crafts, as long as they are the seller's own handiwork — costume jewellery, leather, cork and the like. Selling new non-handmade goods is forbidden.

Prices leave room for haggling, and many traders keep the same pitch every week, which makes it easy to find them again. The site has no natural shade: in summer it is worth arriving early, for the parking as much as for the heat. There are cafés nearby.

It is held on Saturdays all year except during the Virgen del Carmen and Virgen del Rosario fiestas and the Feria de los Pueblos; the council announces those Saturdays in advance. The same fairground hosts Fuengirola market on Tuesdays, which sells new goods and should not be confused with this one.
