With around 140 stalls it is one of the largest on the Costa Brava, and the one with the most international crowd: every Tuesday, Lloret residents and visitors from across Europe browse it side by side.

One section is given over to food — fruit and vegetables, nuts, olives, bread, cured meats, cheese and seasonal produce — and another, considerably larger, to clothing and footwear for the whole family. Alongside them are stalls selling bags, backpacks, costume jewellery, sunglasses, watches and belts, plus kitchenware, tools and household textiles. The churro and roast chicken stalls draw the longest queues.

It is busiest between 10:00 and 12:00, when the central aisles become hard to walk down. Arriving before ten means seeing the market at a calmer pace and, in summer, without the midday heat.
