Torrevieja Hippie Market

The hippie market is the best known craft market in Torrevieja: costume jewellery, leather, clothing, crafts and local design, on stalls that open every day from 11:00 to 23:00.

Careful with the address: it has moved. Since April 2025 the stalls have not been set up on Paseo de la Libertad, their usual place, but on the Vía Verde, by Avenida de la Estación. The move was forced by the works on the port frontage — the new pumping station, the site's electrical installation and the connection to the Levante breakwater walkway — which left the promenade with no room for the stalls.

The return will be to the port, and there is no date yet. The council is preparing a new craft market in the Aduana area and on Paseo de la Libertad, and in June 2026 it put its first 40 stalls out to tender, extendable to 48. Until they are awarded and installed, the stalls stay on the Vía Verde: it is worth checking where the market is set up before you go.
