The street market at Maó's harbour sets up at the Pla de Baixamar, in the Rochina park, and opens every day from April to October, from 10:00 to 20:00. There are only nine stalls, but the setting makes up for it: it stands at the foot of the natural harbour of Maó, one of the largest in the Mediterranean.

You come down from the centre by the steps that link the town with the harbour, a short, steep walk. The continuous hours, ten to eight, make it work at any time of day, and there are restaurants and terraces all along the quay.
