The Costa Marina market sets up on Carrer del Portal de la Mar, the slope that runs from the Plaça des Born down to Ciutadella's harbour. It opens Monday to Saturday from 1 June to 30 September: Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 01:00. With 27 stalls it is the largest of the town's night markets.

What's on sale

The town council reserves the pitches for own-made crafts that support art, culture and the traditional trades. These are pieces by their makers rather than industrial souvenirs: ceramics, jewellery, leather, illustration and decorative objects.

Visiting the market

The slope is walked in one go and comes out at the harbour, so the visit works as a stroll before or after dinner. The crowds arrive after nine. Unlike the Capllonc market, it does not open on Sundays.
