The craft market in the Plaça des Born is Ciutadella's night market for handmade work. It is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 19:00 to midnight, from 1 June to 30 September, in the same square that hosts the morning market, in front of the town hall.

What's on sale

Only own-made crafts by accredited master craftspeople: the town council requires accreditation and rules out resale. Ceramics, jewellery, leather, wood and decorative pieces dominate, in short runs or as one-offs.

Visiting the market

The square is a step away from the descent to the harbour, where the Costa Marina and Capllonc markets run on the same dates, so all three can be seen on one walk. The night-time hours are a response to the heat: the crowds build after nine.
