The Playa Honda farmers' and craft market is set up on the second Saturday of each month, from 10am to 2pm, on calle Mayor. Until 2024 it was held on the third Saturday; San Bartolome town council brought it forward to the second. It does not run in January.
What is sold
Grains, fruit, vegetables, cheeses, baking and artisan products from the island. In 2022 it gathered 42 stalls.
What the visit is like
Calle Mayor is the shopping street of Playa Honda, by the beach and next to the airport, so you walk the market in and out of the shops along it. There is usually live music and family activities. Being monthly, it is worth checking the date: the odd edition has been called off when it clashed with the village fiestas.
