The Costa Teguise market is set up on Friday evenings at the Pueblo Marinero, the square of white houses that Cesar Manrique designed in the middle of the resort. It opens from 5pm to 10pm, so the last stretch runs into the night with the terraces on the square already full.

What is sold

Island crafts and souvenirs, costume jewellery, accessories and clothing. It is one of three markets the Teguise council holds at the Pueblo Marinero each week: the farmers' market on Tuesday mornings, the craft walk on Wednesdays and this one on Fridays.

What the visit is like

It takes a short while to walk and works as an evening plan: the Pueblo Marinero is ringed with bars and sits within walking distance of the Costa Teguise resorts. Being an evening market, it is the alternative for anyone who cannot make the Villa on Sunday.
