Haria Artesanal is set up on Saturdays from 10am to 2.30pm in the plaza Leon y Castillo, the village's central square, in the shade of its laurel trees. It has been running since 2001 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in June 2026, with a civic tribute to the makers and growers who have kept it going.
What is sold
Traditional crafts from the valley: functional and decorative basketwork in pirgano, palm and palmito, rosette lacework, embroidery, dolls and ceramics, alongside contemporary craft pieces. In fresh produce, cheeses, organically grown fruit and vegetables and home baking.
What the visit is like
Haria is in the north, in the valley of a thousand palms, and Saturday morning is when the village fills up. The market takes the square and the terraces around it, and it is close to the Cesar Manrique house museum and the Mirador del Rio.
