The Tinajo farmers' market is set up on Sundays from 9am to 2pm in Mancha Blanca, next to the chapel of Nuestra Senora de los Dolores, the Virgin of the Volcanoes. This is the island's country market: every Sunday it brings the growers of Lanzarote together to sell what they farm.

What is sold

Organic farm produce from the island and artisan food: fruit and vegetables, cheeses, jams, wines, gofio and baking, alongside local crafts.

What the visit is like

Mancha Blanca sits at the entrance to the Timanfaya national park, so the stop fits with a visit to the Fire Mountains. Sunday morning is also the village's busiest time.
